Urban collective wellbeing
Modern industrial societies are built on arbitrary fragmentation. We have systematically separated the domains of our lives: we labor under a rigid economic rhythm that dictates our days, consume mass-produced food engineered for sugar, fat, and salt, and when our bodies inevitably fail, we enter a hyper-monetized medical system dominated by pharmaceutical interests. Under this fractured paradigm, "wellbeing" has been commodified into a luxury retreat, an exclusive privilege reserved only for those with abundant time and financial resources.
This illustration for Arktea, proposes a radical structural alternative based on a simple truth: everything is interconnected. Labor, domestic life, ecology, nutrition, and healthcare are not separate industries; they are deeply interdependent loops. The artwork re-envisions an urban culture that anchors holistic wellbeing at the absolute center of every civic domain.
